Here some solutions for some common issues:



1) Game Launch CTD:

A)You can try to run the OblivionLauncher (it will reset your game config).
Or find your Oblivion.ini (My Documents/My Games/Oblivion/Oblivion.ini), right click -> proprieties and UN-CHECK "read only".

B) Maybe your load order is messed up: go in Start->Programs->FCOM SuperPack->BOSS GUI and select "Run BOSS", then start the game and try again.

C) Maybe you miss one or more official DLCs (including SI), if this is true you crash indeed because many mods require the respective DLC esp to work:

D) If it's still not working, try rebuilding the Bashed Patch, you can find the How-To at half of this page:
Only registered users can see links on this board!
Get registred or enter the forums!


E) If you use win Vista or 7, and installed Oblivion in the common folder "Program files\bethesda softworks\oblivion" try to install it again (oblivion + fcom superpack) on another folder away from program files, for example "C:\games\bethesda softworks\oblivion"

If any of those didn't work, post on the forum and I'll do my best to help. If you know how, post also your complete mod list.



2) My character freezes after exited inventory!

Don't worry, it's a mod (Combat Fumbling) that "simulates" the time spent in inventory when in combat.

HOW TO DISABLE CF INGAME: Open +[Mod Options] -> Combat Fumbling -> reduce "Max Penality" to 5 and rise "Threshold" to 5 also.



3) My game menu/sheets fonts are totally messed up!

Solution:

Go in "UserName\Documents\My Games\Oblivion", open manually your Oblivion.ini file, find these lines:

SFontFile_1=Data\Fonts\Kingthings_Regular.fnt
SFontFile_2=Data\Fonts\Kingthings_Shadowed.fnt
SFontFile_3=Data\Fonts\Tahoma_Bold_Small.fnt

SFontFile_5=Data\Fonts\Handwritten.fnt

earse everything and paste this:

just installed your modpack, also went through the Wrye Bash process and rebuilt the bashed patch.
Told me enhanceddaedricinvasion.esm or .esp (forgot which one) was missing. Added that one from extra download.

Got CTD when starting oblivion from obse_loader. No conflicts in wrye bash or BOSS.

any ideas?

I'm tyring a reinstall now...

You can try posting your load order, just to be sure the problem is not another missing esp

In wrye bash, on the bottom of the window there is an icon named "mod check" with a pencil on a paper displayed, click it, then select "Mod List", copy it here

Ok, I'm trying this again now. Only thing I'm installing before your pack is Qarl's 3 redemized....let's see

EDIT: Works fine now, must have screwed something up last time. But then I successfully installed FCOM manually before that on first try... Wink

well i am having no luck.. it will go to the load screen which is white and has a blank spot which is white also for a cursor.. it will start to load but crashes everytime.. ive done the rebuild and things so i wish i could get this to work.. Evil or Very Mad

I give up!!! I have tried all of your ideas and tricks.. The only thing i can see and not sure if its a problem is that when i ran wrye bash that some of the mods did not have a master.. And speaking of bash the one you put in the pack does not work.. So i am just gonna add on a few mods that i know work and just have to move on from this pack.. It seems like a great mod pack and the auto install is amazing.. Just can not get to work..Too bad..

Danwood can I ask you a question? I added a couple more mods that add races like cute elves etc, and used boss to sort.

It doesn't recognise the superpatch and leaves it last. I hadn't checked where you had it placed, can you please help me? Or it doesnt't matter even if its last?

I cannot get this pack to work. I've stayed up all last night uninstalling and re-installing everything, doing it in order and making sure I've done all the steps nessesary and it crashes when Oblivon.exe starts. The loading bar goes like 2 pixels, stops, and I CTD. And then each time I reinstall I did all the troubleshooting steps, even making a freaking Bashed Patch again. >.< Please help!

The load order is correct, i cant see the checked/unchecked esps though..

Have you tried to reset the INI by running the OblivionLauncher?

Yes, multiple times actually. Just noticed that for some reason the load order from OBMM are the only ones that are checked. Not sure what to do at this point.
